Notification No. 2/89-Inland Air Travel Tax In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 42 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorises every carrier undertaking the carriage of passengers on inland journeys in its aircrafts, to collect the inland air travel tax leviable under section (1) of that section. 2.
