Notification No. 1 /2003 - Inland Air Travel Tax

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, having regard to purpose of anti hijacking of aircrafts, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 2/2001-IATT, dated the 19^th April, 2001 [ G.S.R. 265(E), dated the 19^th April, 2001], namely:-

In the said notification, for the words “Indian Airlines”, the words “ Indian Airlines or any domestic private Airline ” shall be substituted.
