Sir,
The World Customs Organization in its communication
(10 HL-0117E/B.M dt 27/04/10) has invited nominees
from Member Customs Administrations to the 52nd Fellowship Programme
for English speaking Customs officers from 11th October to 19th
November 2010 at WCO Hqrs at Brussels.
2 The
six week Programme consists of a survey of the Council Conventions and includes
independent study in one of the subjects such as Nomenclature, Valuation, Origin,
Enforcement, facilitation, Organisational
Development or Integrity.
3 Proficiency
in English, position as middle level Customs officer with 4 years experience,
good health (Certificate from Doctor should accompany) and maximum age limit of
45 years apply.
4 You are, therefore, requested to forward
nominations from willing and suitable officers who fulfill the criteria
specified by the WCO. The nominations may be sent early, so as to reach
the Ministry, latest by 25th
of May, 2010. The nominations should
be accompanied by the completed application form. For more information you may
refer to the documents received from World Customs Organization (WCO) which are
uploaded on the CBEC website.
