Sub :- Preparation of a panel for selection for the posts of Superintendent/ Appraiser/Inspector/PS/Steno Gr-III/Havaldar/Sepoy on deputation in the Directorate General of Systems.

Options are invited to fill up the following vacant posts in the Directorate General of Systems, Customs & Central Excise, as per details given below :-

2. These posts will be filled up on deputation basis from amongst the officers of the similar rank working in the formations of Customs and Central Excise or officers holding analogues posts in the Directorate General / Directorates under CBEC in the same pay scale.

3. Such officers selected for a posting in the Directorate General of Systems, would normally be appointed for a period of 3 years.

4. It is requested that applications of the interested and eligible officers may be forwarded to this Directorate General with their particulars viz. name, educational qualification, date of birth, present post and the date from which it is held and scale of pay, experience along with ACR gradings for the last five years, No Objection Certificate and vigilance clearance from the concerned Commissionerate/ Directorate General / Directorate within 30 days from the issue of this circular. It may also be brought to the notice of the willing officers that once they are selected, they will not be allowed to withdraw their name and also will not be relieved till the expiry of the tenure of three years. It may also please be certified that no vigilance /non - vigilance case is pending or being contemplated against any such officer.

5. In case, while working in this Directorate General the work and conduct of the officer is not found to be satisfactory, the officer can be reverted to the parent Commissionerate/ Directorate before the completion of the deputation period.
