Subject:- Filling up of various posts in the Authority for Advance Rulings (Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax) on deputation basis- regarding.

Applications are invited for filling up the followings posts in the Authority for Advance Rulings (Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax), under the Department of Revenue, on deputation basis:-

Section Officer- One post

Scale of Pay : Rs. 6,500-200-10,500

Eligibility Criteria

A Central Government Employee

i)          holding analogous posts on regular basis or

ii)         with 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 5,500-9000/-

II. Private Secretary – Two posts

Scale of Pay : Rs. 6,500-200-10,500

Eligibility Criteria

Central Government Employees

i)          holding analogous posts on regular basis or

ii)         with 3 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 5,500-9000/- or

iii)        with 6 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.5,000-8,000/-.

2.  The applications, in the enclosed prescribed proforma in duplicate, along with the following documents may kindly be sent:

i)    Complete and up-to date confidential character roll dossiers or the attested copies of the ACR for the last 8 years duly attested by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary;

ii)    Cadre clearance certificate;

iii)    Vigilance clearance/integrity certificate; and

iv)    Statement indicating the minor/major penalties imposed upon the applicant, if any, during the year last 8-10 years.

3.  While forwarding the applications of the eligible and willing officers, the particulars furnished by the applicants should be duly verified.  The applications should be forwarded to Ms. Krishna A Mishra, Addl. Commissioner (by name), Room No.449, Hotel Samrat, 4^th Floor Kautilya Marg, Chankyapuri.

4.   Incomplete applications or applications not received through proper channel or applications received after the specified date shall not be entertained and would be summarily rejected.

5.   The initial tenure for deputation shall be one year, and would be extendable upto three years. The candidates in the event of their selection will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently on any ground. The pay of the officer selected will be regulated in accordance with the relevant DOP&T’s instruction from time to time. The maximum age limit for appointment shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. The applications complete in all respects must reach this Authority within three weeks of issue of this circular.
