PIO under Right to Information Act

          In terms of Section 5 of the Act, which has come into force w.e.f. the date of enactment of the Act, i.e. 15-06-2005, every public authority is to designate a public information officer to provide information to persons requesting for information under this Act.  Accordingly, the Hon’ble Chairman of the Authority of Advance Rulings (Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax) has designated  Shri R.
